Position Overview

Valor Fleet Services is seeking experienced Light Duty Tow Truck Drivers both Wheel Lifts and Flatbed to join our team in Northern VA.

Experience is required. Paid training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

Safely tow and transport vehicles to designated destinations
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members
Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently
Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety standards
Complete required documentation accurately and on time

Qualifications

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
DOT Medical Card (Required)
Ability to pass a drug screening and background check
DCJS license preferred (not required)
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work flexible shifts

Key Responsibilities

Operate Landoll trailers for pickup and delivery of equipment or freight.
Load and unload heavy equipment, ensuring secure transport.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety.
Maintain accurate delivery records, logs, and documentation.
Follow DOT regulations and all company safety standards.
Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, and team members.
Represent the company professionally on and off the road.

Requirements

Valid CDL Class A license
Minimum of 2 years CDL driving experience (Landoll experience preferred)
Clean driving record (MVR)
Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety practices
Experience with load securement and tie-down procedures
Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screening

Preferred Qualifications

Experience transporting construction or agricultural equipment etc.
Knowledge of oversized load permits and transportation protocols
Forklift or heavy equipment operation experience

Your Role

As the Road Service Manager, you’ll lead our frontline heroes—our Road Service Mechanics—ensuring prompt, effective, and safe operations across the region. You’ll be the strategic and operational backbone, managing personnel, optimizing service workflows, and maintaining high-quality service delivery. This role is field-focused—you’ll be on the road, actively engaging with operations and supporting the team in real time.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and support a team of mobile mechanics, providing coaching, escalation management, and performance guidance.
Operate both in the field and at the Shop, spending significant time on the road to oversee operations, support mechanics during calls, and ensure smooth logistics.
Coordinate service operations, including dispatch optimization, response-time tracking, and resource allocation for breakdowns, emergencies, and onthespot repairs.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols, vehicle maintenance standards, and customer-first operational excellence.
Oversee inventory logistics, guaranteeing service trucks are fully stocked and parts usage is accurately tracked.
Utilize diagnostic and mobile tools to assist the team in troubleshooting effectively.
Serve as a key point of contact between dispatch, mechanics, and customers—communicating updates, status changes, and critical escalations.
Drive continuous improvement, refining processes, response strategies, and team training to elevate operational performance.

What You Bring

Proven leadership experience—ideally managing mobile or roadside repair teams.
Willingness and ability to spend a significant portion of your time working in the field, including traveling to various locations as required.
Solid mechanical knowledge spanning light and heavyduty vehicles—diesel engines, electrical, air brakes, hydraulics.
Strong familiarity with diagnostic tools, emergency repair protocols (batteries, belts, hoses, tires, brakes, air lines), and inventory control.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to operate under pressure in dynamic settings.
Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred but not required.
Superior communication skills and a customerfocused mindset.

Road Runner Wrecker Service has been a leader in towing and recovery since 1992. We are seeking an experienced Mobile Diesel Mechanic to maintain and repair our fleet of light-duty and heavy-duty tow trucks.

Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair diesel engines and related systems
Perform preventative maintenance and inspections
Troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic issues
Complete mobile repairs as needed
Maintain accurate service records

Requirements:

3+ years diesel engine repair experience (Required)
Strong diagnostic skills (not just parts replacement)
Experience with heavy-duty trucks preferred
Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card
Must be able to commute to Leesburg, VA
